Account Deletion and Reactivation

Learn how to reactivate your Geonode account after deletion and regain access to platform services seamlessly.

How to Delete Your Account

Step 1: Log In to Geonode Dashboard

Access the Geonode Dashboard using your registered account credentials.

Step 2: Initiate Account Deletion

Locate the option "Don't need Geonode anymore? Delete your account" within the Settings menu.

Step 3: Confirm Account Deletion

Follow the prompts to confirm the account deletion. This action will remove your account and data from Geonode.

NOTE: Deleting your account will not stop any active subscription from billing, you need to cancel the subscription in the billing section prior to the deletion of the account.

How to Reactivate Your Account

Step 1: Contact Customer Support Team for Reactivation

After your account is deleted, contact Geonode's customer support team to request account reactivation.

Step 2: Provide Necessary Information

Provide your email address or verification details requested by the customer support team.

Step 3: Await Confirmation

Wait for confirmation from the customer support team regarding the reactivation request.

Step 4: Follow Reactivation Instructions

Follow any instructions provided by the customer support team (if there are any) to complete the account reactivation process.

Step 5: Log In to Reactivated Account

Once reactivation is confirmed, log in to your Geonode account using your credentials.

Step 6: Verify Account Details

Verify that all your account details, settings, and data are restored as expected after reactivation.

Step 7: Resume Platform Usage

Begin using Geonode platform services as usual with your reactivated account.
