Where is my API credentials?

Your API credentials refer to your Username and API key on your Geonode Dashboard which are used to authenticate before starting to use the Geonode proxy. These authentication details (API Credentials) can be easily found in the Authentication details section of the Geonode Dashboard.

  • Login to Geonode Dashboard

  • Then click on Home on the left sidebar to navigate to the Authentication details section. There, we can find both the Username and API key, which are required for authentication.

  • If you want to, you can reset your API credentials by going into “API & Code Generator” and clicking on “Reset API Password”.
