Exclude country

Exclude specific countries when assigning a proxy IP. This is a username flag on the proxy connection (proxy.geonode.io), not a separate HTTP management API.

Auth

Use your Geonode proxy username and password with the proxy URL.

Username syntax

Append exclusion flags to your username:

Form	Example username suffix
Single country	`-not.country-US`
Multiple countries	`-not.country-US,CA,MX`

Full proxy user string shape:

<geonode_username>-not.country-<CODE>[,<CODE>...]:<geonode_password>

Country codes are ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (for example US, DE, GB).

Rules

Use only one exclusion type per request (not.country or not.state or not.city or not.asn).
Do not combine -not.country- with -not.state-, -not.city-, or -not.asn- in the same username.

Replace <port>, <geonode_username>, and <geonode_password> with your values.

Response

The example URL is ip-api.com (a public IP check). The JSON below is that service’s response for the egress IP Geonode assigned — it is not a Geonode API schema.

After excluding US (and optionally others), countryCode should not be one of the excluded codes.

-not.country-US returned countryCode: "CL" (not US). zip may be an empty string.
