How to setup geonode proxy server in windows 10/11
Below is a step-by-step process for setting up a proxy server in Windows, focusing on using the built-in options within Windows 10 or 11.
Step 1: Whitelist Your IP Address
Before setting up a proxy, you must whitelist your current IP to avoid authentication pop-ups.

Step 2: Get Proxy Server Details
To configure the proxy, you need the Proxy IP and Port from the Geonode Dashboard.

Step 3: Open Proxy Settings in Windows
Click the Windows Search Bar and type: “Change proxy settings”
Click on Manual Proxy Setup
Step 4: Enter Proxy Details
A popup window will open:
Enter the Proxy IP and Port you copied from the Geonode Dashboard.
Click Save.
Step 5: Check if the Proxy is Working

If the setup works, your IP will change to the proxy location
